our preschool staff
Terri is the Director of BLPS and the Head Teacher for the 3 year old classes. Since 2002, Terri has had many varied roles at BLPS. She has volunteered, has served as a long-term sub in the four-year old class and has been a floating assistant between both programs. Terri comes to Bethany with many varied experiences working with children. She also has many years of experience working with children and adults with disabilities. Terri holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Therapy and a Child Development Associate Certificate with a concentration in Preschool.
She has two daughters who have gone thru the Cromwell school system. Terri plays clarinet with the Governor’s Foot Guard. She likes swimming and enjoys baking.

Katie Meyer is the Assistant Teacher in the 3 year old class. She has been a substitute at Bethany for the past few years which included a being a long term sub. She also has experience as a paraprofessional working with children with special needs at an inclusive preschool. Katie has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Fairfield University and a Master of Science degree in Medical and Molecular Genetics/Genetic Counseling from Indiana University School of Medicine. She worked for 6 years as a genetic counselor at the UCONN Health Center. Katie lives in Cromwell with her husband and 3 children. All of her children went to BLPS. When she is not shuttling her children to their many activities, she enjoys reading and traveling.

Rachel is a Teacher in the 4 year old classes, beginning at BLPS in 2020. She has an Associates Degree in Early Childhood from Tunxis Community College. She is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree at Charter Oak State College.
Rachel is married and has two children. Her interests include watching and playing sports, taking road trips with her family and decorating for the holidays.

4 Year Old Teacher
Devin is the Assistant Teacher in the 4 year old class at BLPS. She has worked in healthcare as a Certified Nurse Assistant for over 10 years. She has also been a substitute for the preschool. Devin lives in Cromwell with her husband and two children. In her free time she enjoys playing tennis, gardening, and camping with her family.

4 Year Old Assistant Teacher
Marie is the Floating Assistant in the 3 and 4 year old classes. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies from Quinnipiac. She wolrked as a paralegal within the insurance industry before becoming a mom. She lives in Cromwell with her husband and two children, both of whom attended BLPS. In her free time she enjoys reading, watching sports, spending time with her family and traveling.
